Red Rock Cyclathon, Saturday, June 7, 2008

 

The purpose of the Cyclathon:

The cyclathon is a fund raising event to support the Red Rock Bible Camp summer program and to provide camperships for needy campers. It is a Special Event that is run by permission of the RCMP. Cyclists are fully supported en route by a host of volunteers who provide: snack, lunch, first aid, motor cycle escort, other escort vehicles, caution and directional signage, flag person direction at intersections, portable washrooms, bicycle repair and more.

Who Can Participate?

Friends, families, corporate teams, youth groups, and individuals. Cyclists must be 12 years of age or older and raise sponsorships of at least $150. Children under twelve may participate when accompanied by an adult.

Cyclist Awards:

Each cyclist will receive the 2007 Cyclathon T-shirt (If registered by May 26). Cyclists who raise $200 or more, may also choose a discount off a summer camp fee or a gift certificate from one of several stores, based on the level of their sponsorship.
